He did several things to keep active once he retired, of note he was co owner of a Cart racing team, he led a group of investors to get a St.Louis NFL franchise, he opened a Steakhouse franchise, and owns historic train roundhouse that was turned into a historic site and steakhouse. Upon his illness before he died he campaigned for organ transplants awairness and worked on his auto biography until he passed.
