The wicket-keeper in the sport of cricket is the player on the fielding side who stands behind the wicket or stumps being guarded by the batsman currently on strike. The wicket-keeper is the only member of the fielding side permitted to wear gloves and external leg guards. The wicket-keeper may also wear a helmet with a mesh face guard to help protect from injury. It is essentially a specialist role although a keeper is occasionally called upon to bowl, in which case another member of the fielding side temporarily keeps wicket. The role of the keeper is governed by Law 40 of the Laws of Cricket.
They wear white because Its a pleasant colour to wear in the hospital because someone might die so instead of wearing a dark colour like black they wear a bright colour like white. They also wear blue because it is also a pleasant colour

Colours do not have gender. Anyone can wear any colour they like and want to. Just a word of advise, most of it is in your attitude. It helps if the colour looks good on you, but if you want to wear a colour there really isn't a "colour police" out there that will stop you.
There is no cool colour. What makes it cool is how you wear. A black dress is a must for your wardrobe, and black is very cool. But if you like purple (or any other colour) and pull it off in style, then there you have your own cool colour.
