I have been told that the city with the most Olympians is the city of Terrassa in Catalonia in the province of Barcelona. It has been traditional for the strength of the hockey tradition in the city to be reflected in the number of players in the Spanish Olympic team, hence the large number of medal holders in the city.

∙ 11y agoRatio wise (Olympians per capita) is probably the small town of Cavtat in southern Croatia.
According to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, the town's population (including its wider neighborhood) throughout history varied between 1000 and 2000 people. The town has produced 8 Olympians since 1976, all in the sport of Water Polo.
