All of the Rocky movies are fictional accounts. The Ali - Chuck Wepner fight gave Sylvester Stallone the idea for the first Rocky Movie, which is pretty much a little known trivia. (Got to admit, Sly is a very commendable Actor! He does a great job every time.)

No, Don King does not appear in "Rocky V." The film features a different storyline focusing on Rocky Balboa's struggles after retirement and his relationship with his son, as well as his mentorship of a young boxer named Tommy Gunn. While King is a prominent figure in boxing history, he is not part of the plot or cast in this particular installment of the Rocky series.

rocky films are considered based off the story of rocky marciano, but that is not true. rocky is actually historical fiction, because in rocky IV he goes to russia to fight Ivan drago during the cold war. rocky is not off rocky marciano because in rocky V rocky has a flash back about mickey his trainer, and mickey in the flash back gives him a neckless . mickey received this neckless from rocky marciano, at the same time that rocky balboa was a fighter in the movie.

Due to my own knowledge of Sylvester Stallone and the fact that he is a major superstar in the acting industry. So due to films like; Rocky, Rocky II, Rocky III, Rocky IV, Rocky V and Rocky VI, also Rambo 1,2,3, I may have come to the conclusion that 'boxing' may be the sport that Sylvester Stallone is best at. Although obviously I could be wrong, as it probably is Ballet dancing. Guys love that stuff.
