The answer would have to be "the wrong kind", a right handed user pulls the string with his/her right hand and has the shelf on the LEFT, whereas a left handed user (such as yourself) pulls the string with his/her left hand and needs the arrow shelf on the RIGHT.
As a real archer with three years of experience with various bows (st the time of writing), I know for certain that bows should never have the shelf on the wrong side.
If you have a left handed bow, then you probobly would be left handed anyway, so you would pull the string back with your right hand.
You pull a bow across the strings, which make different notes. The left hand is used to "stop" the string for even more notes.
i just figured out how to make the twin towers with a string!!! loop the string between your thumb and pinky, with opposit hand and index finger make two more loops,(just like how you start the "cut off a hand" trick, with left hand release strings on index and pinky finger, then pull lower string on pinky of right hand and stretch to full length, there are two towers standing tall between your fingers
1st put the arrow on the holder then click the end on the string then with whatever hand u use hold the bow back then with the other hand pull back the string with2 fingers 1 on each side of the end of the arrow then u pull the string back to your cheack aim and let go of the string
Assuming your right handed, it means you are not plucking the string with your right hand fingers or pick - if your using one. For example, place your first finger (left hand) on the first fret, first string. That is an "F" note. Keep your first finger there, while placing your third finger (same hand) on the third fret first string. That's a note of "G". Now, instead of plucking the string with the right hand, pull the first string with the third finger that you have on the third fret. In this way you are actually plucking the string with the third finger. Hope this makes sense to you. If I had to show you how to do this, it would take less than a second. Trying to explain it is much more difficult. Viper1
To make the longbow work you have to have very long arms and flexible wrists. You pick it up and hold the bow. You pull the string back with the other hand not holding the bow. Then you release the string and see the arrow fly. Bullseye! The bow was bendy so you can pull the string back.
If you are left handed, you throw the baseball with your left hand, so in this case the left handed glove goes on a left handed persons right hand so they catch with glove on right hand and then pull the ball out of mitt and throw with left hand. - It means if you are left handed get this glove but you will wear it on your right hand.
Left hand side for Aussie's
