Start out with your opposite hand that you write with holding the ball. If your right handed hold with your left hand and vice versa. Hold the ball slightly across your body so when you swing with your main hand, you hit the ball directly underneath. Next position your feet. If your right handed start out with your left foot in front. Switch if your left-handed. Now, you are in position to hit the ball. Start with a fist, with the thumb on the outside of your fingers, so your wrist is exposed. When you swing you step with your right foot if your right-handed and so forth. Now all you have to do is swing your hand to hit the ball and step. If you don't get it the first time, try again. If you don't think you have enough power try hitting the ball on the top of your fist. Remember, though. NEVER hit the ball with your knuckles. If you dont get it just try again. Pretty soon it will be flying over the net.
