If by leagues you're asking about sanctioning bodies such as USSSA, ASA, USFA ect. The difference is the level of competition.

yes there is a difference because a major league baseball bat is wood and a girls are metal. also i minor leagues girls say softball and boys say baseball. once my friend was using a baseball bat and was hitting better. in softball you can not use a baseball bat! ---- never use a baseball bat in softball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They don't use four outfielders in softball. Some slow-pitch leagues may choose to use four outfielders, but other than that, the positions are the same as in baseball. Rec leagues, high school, and college softball all use three outfielders: left field, right field, and center field.
it depends on what league youre in coach pitch 10 inches minors 11 inches majors 12 inch and so on 10 and under is 11 inches 12 and under and all the way up is 12 inches. I have seen a 14 inch softball and I think they use that in slowpitch In adult recreational leagues, women use an 11 inch ball and men use a 12 inch ball. In colder climates (Chicago, in particular) has leagues that use a 16 inch ball and no gloves during the winter.
