The question is too vague however, here is the best answer I can provide. The markings on the court are to determine whether a double/mix play or a single play and a odd or an even number of scores. For double/mix play, the exterior making is in use which means the outside lines of both sides are in effective while playing. For single play, the interior inside lines on both sides are in use with that said, the outside lines are ineffective while playing. For servings, there two square boxes on each side of the court. While playing doubles/mix, the outside lines are in use and in singles, the inside lines are in use. The right boxes are for even number of scores and the left boxes for odd numbers. These boxes only use when serving and after the serving, the entire court are in use. The reason why there are two boxes on each court is because when serving, the server has to serve in the opposite court. For instance, server who serves from the even boxes has to serve to the opponent on the even boxes and vice versa. The end lines are use on either doubles/mix or single. Hope this helps.
