She brought in a new style of play being the most accomplished all courter the game has seen. Tennis before the Graf era was played either by serve and volleyers, or baseliners. Graf put together in her game the defensive mastery of a baseliner with the offensive minded style of a serve and volleyer, and set the trend for the all court style played today. When Rod Laver ,Don Budge,Mo Connelly,and Margaret Court won The Grand Slam, three of the four of the Majors surfaces were on grass, Steffi Graf is still in 2010 the only player to complete The Grand Slam on four different surfaces, on Rebound Ace a slow rubberized surface, Australian Open (now played on a conventional hard court) Clay at the Roland Garros, grass at Wimbledon, and Hard Court at the U.S. Open.

He has held the Number 1 position for a record breaking 237 consecutive weeks. Many sports analysts, tennis critics, former and current players consider Federer to be the greatest tennis player of all time. Federer has won 15 Grand Slam singles titles, more than any other male player. He has beaten the record of the 14 grand slams held by the precious great Pete Samras. He has 5 US Open, 6 Wimbledon, 1 Fench Open and 3 Autralian Open Titles already and many more yet to come by. Its quite entertaining and almost a joy to watch 'Roger' play on the court. His craftsmanship is incomparable. His technique, method and style are a class that gives him an edge and stands him apart from any other player. Though at times, you just get the feeling that this man gets too very focussed on his technique that he forgets to move in quickly and follow up on the shots from his opponent. I think if he works and improves on the aggressivess and power, he can really bring in players like Rafel and Roddick to their knees. I personally think Roger Freder is one of thr best or infact the best player that Tennis Sport has ever seen. He is already a legend and i pray and wish him all the best to win many more titles and records in future.
