Well you probably need tack which can be purchused at your local tack shop. Unless you are riding bareback in that case you still need a bridle. It depends on your horse.
If you are going horseback riding at someone else's ranch, you need to have the right clothes.
-closed toe shoes (like boots or tennis shoes) DO NOT WEAR FLIP FLOPS!
-Long pants
-Long sleeved shirt (better than short sleeves, in case there was an accident)
-Gloves (you don't have to have them, they just protect you from getting the skin on your hands rubbed raw)
-Helmet (if you are a new rider, or feel more comfortable that way)
PLEASE don't wear boots with spurs unless you are a professional rider.
to go horseback riding you will need a saddle, saddle pad, bridle, and a helmet to be safe. (:
Yes, you can. You can also die from riding a bike, flying a kite, playing baseball, walking down a hill and any other activity you can name. Horseback riding is not especially dangerous- but you do need to pay attention, follow procedures. You are MUCH more likely to get stepped on- and while that is not fatal, it HURTS!

Yes horseback riding is very fun! Well that is my opinion. I ride English, there are several different types of riding. You can look for lessons at your local stables. It includes hard disciplines and you may fall a lot, which hurts sometimes, but you have to be tough and you'll have a great time! I agree! Horseback riding is sooooo much fun! I also ride English. I have been bucked off a couple times and I know people who have broken arms and legs. You just need to get back up and try again. I compete in shows and love it! Soon I hope to get my own horse! I also agree, I ride English, ridden for 6 years. It a lot of fun and good exercize. But yeah be prepared to fall off a couple times.

Every horses behaviour is different. From 12 years of horseback riding experience, I have ridden a few Arabians, and most of the time they are highly spirited to ride they are quite fizzy and speedy. They need an experienced rider.
Spain most often imports all the equipments from the foreign exporters. They usually need the upgraded equipments only.
