It depends how advanced the gym pupils want to become. The better the equipment the easier it is to progress, but here are a few things that are useful for gymnastics:
Beam (not needed for boys)
Bars (asymetric for girls, parallel for boys)
Pommel horse (boys only)
Rings (boys only)
Foam pit (useful for practicing trickier skills so you can have a soft landing)
Chalk and handguards so you prevent blisters and rips when on bars
Trampets can be useful
Mats of course for safety! Very important!
Weights etc. for conditioning
Depends what you mean, if you mean womens artistic gymnastics then the standard apparatus are Beam Bar Vault Floor
An indoor gym, with all the necessary apparatuses and LOTS of mats.
well the equipment are bars, beam, valut, and floor
Gymnasts wear leotards. The men wear pants over their leotards.
Events and Equipment for Females: Floor, Uneven Bars, Vaulting horse and Balance Beam.Events and Equipment for Males: Floor, Vaulting Horse, Rings, Parallel Bars, High Bar and Pommel Horse. And other equipment such as springboards, crash mats, grips, chalk and vault runs are used, of course. There are many different pieces of equipment that you use in gymnastics, but the most common equipment is bars, beam, trampolines, rings, mats, inclines, vault and boxes.
a simple incline is used in gymnastics- a "cheese wedge" i think a spring board qualifies as well
