Here are some things I have found VERY helpful:

To have tight lower legs, but open up your knee and upper leg more.

To flow with the horse over the jump ( Really stretch and grab mane)

To move your hand with the horses neck, Give a ton of rein on the landing.

And lastly after the bigger jumps gather yourself quickly and sit back up to focus on the next jump.

I have been jumping for 8+ years and am currently jumping 4'9+ on a TB and a warmblood. So I hope this helps! :)
