There are no quarters in a volleyball game. Their called "sets" its a game and you either play best 2 of 3 or 3 of 5.
It goes up to 25 points. usally it is best 3 out of 5 or 4 out of 5 but somestimes it can also be played best 2 out of 3 games.
It depends on the rules, but usually there are 5 games in a match. Each of the first four is composed of 25 points with a two point lead, although there is sometimes a cap, or a maximum number of points that a game can go up to. The last game is generally 15 points.

I don't know much but i do know (1) in volleyball you can have 6 people on Court and in mini you can have only 4 (2) In mini volleyball you can not kick the ball but in volleyball you can (3) In volleyball you have sets and in mini you just count all the scores (4) If a boy is playing in a team they will put the net up higher (5) you can serve over arm i think you can do that in mini volleyball as well but people just don't bother because in practice they only teach year 5's and over. That's all i know there are probably heaps more rules but there are some :)
in order to become a volleyball player, you don't have to take special classes, and there is never, EVER anyone there at the end to say, "You are officially a volleyball player." The only way to determine that you are a volleyball player is that you play somewhere. Like:1. It could be your house.2. A league.3. A school team.4. The Olympics.5. A contest.6. The beach. (Beach volleyball)7. Take classes at a gym or something. And in order to truly become and be a volleyball player, you must be dedicated. You must follow all the rules of volleyball. No matter what kind of volleyball your playing, Beach volleyball, or regular volleyball, you MUST follow the rules of the game.
