If the arrow misses the target then its score will be zero.

For minor transgressions during a tournament the normal thing is for the arrow which gained advantage will not be scored. i.e. touching an arrow in the target before its score has been recorded.

If more arrows are shot than allowed then the highest scoring arrows are discounted until the correct number of arrows are left.

If the offense is related to safety the archer may be asked to withdraw from the competition.

If the offense is related to drugs then the archer may be banned.
