Rowing events are called regattas. A regatta is also known as a 'race day'. It consists of an entire schedule of individual races between teams.
In the sport of rowing, you can have both team and individual events.

I think there are three: swimming (backstroke), rowing, and high jump.
There are many Olympic events, here are four:- Athletics, Rowing, Boxing, Swimming.

In the 2012 London Olympics the Dutch competed in yellow/orange colored rowing boats. This may vary between the different rowing events they competed in.

In competitive rowing, races can range from short sprints of around 6 minutes for events like the 2000-meter race, to longer events that may take up to an hour or more, depending on distance and format. Additionally, include warm-up and recovery times for a complete estimate.
