∙ 15y agoSoftball is like a sport very similar to baseball and cricket. It also involves around the same thing. I think the most important skills of playing softball is to be able to control the movement of the ball well when you whack it and be able to have good mastery over your softball bat. *Softball bats are made of metal. So, they kind of hurt when you hit someone or yourself with it.
They are practically the same. I've played both, the only difference is the pitching, the size of the ball, the size of the bats, and if you are playing for leagues or school then boys play baseball and girls play softball.

There is no difference. Some rules may have changed but I am pretty sure that it is still the same. I have been playing softball for a while and it is still the same from when i played in 2012 and I still play.
