Well, I'll put a few names out there ...

1) Ian Thorpe, swimming - won a total of 9 Olympic medals (5 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze) at the 2000 and 2004 Games and set a world record in 400 meter freestyle at the 2000 Games and an Olympic record in 200 meter freestyle at the 2004 Games.

2) Dawn Fraser, swimming - won gold in 100 meter freestyle at three straight Games (1956, 1960, 1964). She won 8 total medals (4 gold, 4 bronze) and set a world record in 100 meter freestyle at the 1956 Games.

3) Shirley Strickland, athletics - won a total of 7 Olympic medals (3 gold, 1 silver, 3 bronze) at the 1948, 1952, and 1956 Games. Her 7 medals was a record for women's athletics until broken by Merlene Ottey of Jamaica in 2000. She won gold in 80 meter hurdles in 1952 and 1956 and set a world record in the event in 1952.

4) Brad McGee, cycling - won a total of 5 Olympic medals (1 gold, 1 silver, 3 bronze) at the 1996, 2000, and 2004 Games. He won medals in 4000 meter individual pursuit in three straight Games, a bronze in 1996 and 2000 and a silver in 2004.

5) Andrew Hoy, equestrianism - won 4 total Olympic medals (3 gold, 1 silver) and competed in 6 Olympics between 1984-2004. He won gold in team three day eventing in three straight Games (1992, 1996, 2000) along with teammate Matt Ryan.
