Bob Pratt, playing for South Melbourne - Swans, kicked 150 goals in a home-and-away season during the early 1930's, and Peter Hudson, playing for Hawthorn - Hawks, in 1971 also kicked 150 goals during the home-and-away season. However, there were a few less games played during a season in the 1930's than in the 70's.
