∙ 9y agoThe story goes that the Curtiss Candy Co. named the candy bar after President Grover Cleveland's daughter Ruth, who was born in 1891 and died in 1904. But it is believed that the company cashed in on Babe Ruth's popularity when the Baby Ruth bar was marketed in 1921.
