He has been hit by pitches over the years and had a close call one year while a coach with the Yankees.
Yes several teams do. The Red Sox dugout is and always has been on the first base side to name one.
Pretty sure that yes, he did. It was a limousine.

A coach may yell out from the dugout but, it is up to which ever player has the ball when the play is over. All he has to do is touch the contested base with the ball in his hand. The umpire will either rule safe or out. It has to happen before another pitch is thrown.
baseball is stupid!!!!
It has and can happen.

A player can quit and collect 10x's their contract salary at anytime while in a contract while a major league team but can every play a professional sport other than boxing ever again
one time in a major league game the ball was fouled and landed in the plate umpires pocket. they were looking for it for quite a while
The Natural is the best baseball movie ever.
It was obvious that one end zone was smaller. The field markings at the back of the end zone on the baseball infield side followed the contour of the dugout entrances. The openings to the dugouts were blocked-off with padding. The back corners of the end zone were about eight yards from the front of the end zone. About a yard or two from the back corners the dugout flaired in to cut another yard or so off of the available space. The dugout then receded so that the full endzone was achieved about eight yards or so from the back corners. Some CFL teams (where the end zones are much larger) still have field markings that follow the contours of the available space in the back of the end zones.
