an ace in volleyball is when one team serves the ball and the other team cant return it. then the team that served the ball gets an ace
Normally, there are two players in a game of beach volleyball.
every moment of the game. once someone serves the ball over the net you would attempt to rally (hit the ball back and forth over the net) until one team drops the ball, then it starts over again.
volleyball is a team sport and all players contribute equally no one position is better than another.
When one team serves the ball.
Official volleyball rules state that there may be 18 members on a volleyball team, only six of whom can be in play at one time. Volleyball was created by William G. Morgan in 1895, and has undergone numerous changes in its over 100 years of play.
=To win lots of points and beat the other team.=
one point for for your team every time the other team drops the ball. and vise versa
Play the ball smartly; look where nobody is defending on your opponents side and hit the ball there. Always be aware of where the other team's defense is. One of my favorite tricks in volleyball is going up to the ball and pretending to spike it, then at the last second, hit it very lightly or tip the ball over the net, so the other team will be sprawling on the floor to get it.
Netball has 7 players per team: Volleyball has 6 players per team Netball has an unlimited number of ball passes between team members with attempted intercepts from the opposing team: Volleyball has a maximum of 3 ball contacts by one team before the ball must be hit to the opposing team's side of the net. Netball allows holding/carrying the ball: Volleyball does not allow a hold or carry of the ball in play. Netball has the aim of goals (balls thrown through a hoop): Volleyball has the aim of scoring points by returning the ball to the opposing teams side in such as way as to make it difficult for the opposing team to keep the ball in the air or return it. At least some Netball players from both teams are on all areas of the court: Volleyball teams players access only their half of the court on their side of the net which is strung across the court. Netball is a much more similar game to Basketball than volleyball, but has no stepping while holding the ball: only one bounce is permitted, unlike the basketball dribble, restricted player movements depending on the position played, two more players per team, no backboard to the hoop.
An attack in volleyball is when a person hits the ball, sometimes called a spiker or hitter. This is when a person hits the ball from the front row or back row. It is like a serve but it is during game play. An attack usually occurs on the third touch of the ball.
There can be anywhere from 6 to 15 people on a volleyball team. It really depends. There are only 6 that play on the court at one time though.
