Probably the most famous instance was in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl XII between the Dallas Cowboys and the Denver Broncos in the Louisiana Superdome. With 7:11 remaining in the game, Dallas quarterback Roger Staubach pitched the ball to fullback Robert Newhouse, who then threw an option pass to Cowboys wide receiver Golden Richards for a touchdown. The score clinched the NFL title for the Cowboys, who won 27-10.
In the first quarter the giants were in the lead (9-0) In the second quarter the patriots were leading (10-9) In the third quarter the score was (15-17) In the fourth quarter the final score was 21-17 giants :)
