I started gymnastics last year when I was 11. In about half a year I moved up from beginners to level 1 and I’m now 12 almost 13. I’ve always been the oldest in my level but I always feel like the coaches like me more because I’m older and don’t goof around like all the little kids. Usually people in my level are from 7-10 and even though the actual level ages are 7-17 I’m still always the oldest. But other then that I think it’s never to late to so what you love and follow your passion!

∙ 10y agono, i would definatly not! I'm 13 and in level 6 and all of the level 3's are under 10 so you'd be with all little kids. cheack out your local ymca to see if they have prep ops. which is for girls over 12 and your with older kids and make your own floor routin.
disregard what the person above said. YES most definately you can start gym at 13 i am 13 and starting and as long as you are okay being with kids younger than you than go ahead its so much fun
