Is it illegal to swim in just a jockstrap?

Well, I see more swim suit jocks for men so I am wondering. I guess they would not be made for swimming only (without a regular swim suit) if it were strictly illegal. It is certainly a new option. It is not illegal, but it is unusual as the jock does not cover anything in the back. So I first tried wearing my swim thongs at the out local pool and these worked out fine. Then I tried several swim jocks one in blue, one in yellow and one in red. I checked with the front desk first and it is fine. The rules are to wear swimwear and take a shower.

Jockstraps or double thongs as colorful swimwear or swimsuits or beachwear are most known in Australia and Mexico, and Brazil, but are also made in South Florida for the local nudist beaches and private pools and certain, but not all public beaches. Swim thongs and swim jocks are a type of swim suit or swim wear or beachwear as these words can be used interchangeably. Joe Snyder brand jockstrap swimwear is an example, as well as the FR brand beachwear swim brief jockstrap.

You don't have to, but some guys do. They make swimmers jockstraps with a narrow waistband, so they are more concealed underneath a swimsuit.

There are many swim suits that have a double thong or jockstrap style. This style is worn anywhere men's thong swim suits are worn such as at home, at private gyms and pool, and at certain beaches. The rules at my private gym's pool were to take at shower and wear swimwear. I have several bright yellow and bright orange color swim jocks.
