it depends on which way you are framing the question. if it is that children should stay active everyday and play with their friends outside and whatnot because in that case it is a yes. children need to stay active to grow and develop strong and healthy. but if you are looking at a teenager who has a certain sport everyday of the week (such as a football or Lacrosse star) then sometimes it can be a strain on their body but know matter what they are being built so i believe the answer to your question would be it is not required every day but children do need to be kept active often enough
