A full round of Golf is 18 holes. Some courses are only 9 holes, in which case, the nine holes must be played twice. Any round which is less than 18 holes will not be considered a complete round.

∙ 18y agoWhen you say: "I have just completed a round of golf." Generally you are saying that you have just played golf. Usually 9 or 18 holes. I don't think it matters how many holes you play.

∙ 14y agoDepends on the course, the vast majority of 18 hole courses worldwide have a par from 69-73, it is unusual to have much less, or much more.

It is a round of golf. It consists of playing 18 holes of golf.
One round is 18 .. so 18 + 18= 36. ; 36 holes
18 holes on a standard golf course.
The term sought may be "par" which is the number of strokes anticipated for an expert golfer to complete a hole of golf, or a round of 9 or 18 holes. Someone has "parred" if he took exactly the number of expected strokes for a hole. The player is said to be playing "par golf."
A round of Golf is usually 18 holes. But if there is a match which is still a tie after the stipulated round, playoff holes can be played until the match is settled, there is no limit to how many holes are played, unless settled by the competition committee.
The PGA Tour record is 18 putts for 18 holes, held by several players.
