Ive been ev training a zubat and just started training its speed it has pokerus power anklet when you kill Magikarp you should get 10 evs but when you lv up it only says 2 or 3 in speed why is this?

When you train your Pokemon, the effort value (ev) isn't shown immediately. Remember that each Pokemon has a max of 512 effort value points and a max of 256 effort value points per stat. If you max out a stat with ev's, when you reach about level 70ish you should begin to see a big increase in your Pokemon's stats per level. Hope this helped ^^
