Yes
the yz85 is faster because it has so much top end and no power valves and the kx does. in a race a yz would win but it is 10% bike / 90% rider
The yz will pick up off the start line quicker than the crf but the 150 is a smoother ride so what advantage the yz85 may gain in straights the crf150 can counter in cornering. In some countries they race against each other and the last national race I attended the podium was full of crf150's. Although in saying that the riders that won would have done so on the yz85 regardless. So a good rider can win on either as both bikes have their good points and bad. In the USA they don't race one another. The crf150r is easier to ride where the yz85 takes a good technical rider to ride it well. The yz has a lot of top end power.
Obviously yz125 is more faster than yz85.
No,but they do race 250s in the lower class and in the higher class they race 450s
Class: Classy Race: Not Black
The yz would always win because its a 2 stroke race bike. Even the yz85 would beat the crf150r or the crf150f.
The Yamaha yz85 is known as a mini motorcycle in its class. Replacement parts can be found at any local Yamaha dealer as well as on line at Yamaha Parts House. Here a wide selection of new and replacement parts can be found.
Both stock, depending on race strip, let's say quarter mile on: the 400 ex.anything less then a quarter mile the yz
There really is no answer to this as you are the only person that knows what race and class you want to be.
In general, the YZ85 has a larger engine and is capable of higher top speeds compared to the KX65. However, factors like rider skill, bike maintenance, and conditions can affect actual speed.
a kx85 is faster than the yz85 but the fastest is the cr85 but the rider is what makes it faster or slower
The stock compression ratio for a 2003 Yamaha YZ85 is approximately 8.6:1.
