If you mean Jiu-Jitsu as in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu then yes, there is a big difference. But if you mean jiu Jitsu as in Japanese Jujutsu, then no, there isn't much of a difference.

Small circle Jujutsu is a variation off of traditional Japanese Jujutsu. Where Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a variation off of Judo, which is specialized from traditional Japanese Jujutsu.

Also, traditional Japanese Jujutsu and Small Circle are 90-95% standing up and involve very little ground work, whereas Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is the opposite, being 90-95% ground work.

Yes, there is a difference between Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Small Circle Jiu-Jitsu (SCJJ). BJJ is a martial art that emphasizes ground fighting and submission techniques. It was developed in Brazil in the early 20th century and has since become one of the most popular Martial Arts in the world. On the other hand, Small Circle Jiu-Jitsu is a specific variation of BJJ that was developed by Wally Jay. It places a strong emphasis on leverage and pressure points, and utilizes circular movements to control an opponent and set up submissions.

While both BJJ and SCJJ share the same roots and share many techniques, the fundamental approach to grappling and submissions is different. BJJ places more emphasis on power, athleticism, and technique, while SCJJ places more emphasis on leverage, body mechanics, and pressure point manipulation. Both systems have their own unique strengths and weaknesses, and many practitioners of BJJ have also studied Small Circle Jiu-Jitsu to complement their training. What is difference between great circle and circle?

A great circle lies in the plane that includes the center of the Earth. The plane of a small circle doesn't include the center of the Earth.

What is difference between great circle and small circle?

A "great circle" is any circle on a sphere whose center is also the center of the sphere. The shortest distance between two points on the surface of a sphere is a piece of the great circle on which both points lie. A "small circle" is any circle on the sphere that's not a 'great' circle.

What is the difference between a small circle and a great circle?

A small circle is a simple circle on a two dimensional plane. The great circle is the circle around a sphere that is on the plane that intersects with the center of the sphere. It is the reason that on a flat map the paths of planes seem to curve to go to and from Europe and the North American continent.

Why did Kepler deduce the elliptical orbits of planets from Tycho's data where so many other earlier astronomers and learned men had missed it?

Tycho was the first astronomer to make measurements of enough accuracy to show that the older theories were producing errors in the planets' positions. The difference between an ellipse and the old model of a circle and epicycle, which gives a circle with the Sun off-centre, was so small that it needed high accuracy to notice the difference. Planets' orbits have an extremely small difference between the major and minor axes of the ellipses.

What is the largest number of sides a regular polygon can have?

Effectively, the answer is that a regular polygon could have an infinite number of sides. However, when the number of sides reaches a thousand or so there is very little difference to the naked eye between such a polygon and a circle. For information : Some of the early calculations for pi were based on the very small difference between a polygon with a very large number of sides and a circle.
