I guess it doesn't really matter, if you're talking about the NBA. You have to go to college and get a sports degree, then be drafted by a team, but it all depends on whether the college accepts you or not to get a degree in sports.
Sure is. It is one of the last jobs available that you can get into without a college degree. There are even a couple who got in right out of high school. I just got laid at my job, I here they're hiring at NBA. I sent in my resume and I think they were impressed.
