I have never been to a camp, but I have had some people come to our cheer practices and teach us a routine critique us, and help us with stunting. We called it camp because it lasted all day. It's a good deal, though, because you get to learn a ton of new skills and still get to go home at night and sleep in your own bed. our program was called Jump & Jam
I have friends who went to dance camp. they found the program through the dance team and went for a week last summer. They stayed in a hotel with girls from other towns and worked on their dance skills. I don't know what that one was called, though, because i was never on dance team.

"UCA Cheer Camp" is held by college cheerleaders. These competition cheerleaders give up their time to go around the nation & teach new things. It's very fun.

There a number of things you can bring to cheer camp. If going to cheer camp for three days soon which has a theme of red carpet, then you already have a hint on the color of items to carry. In order to win the prize for the best dorm decorated, you can combine some fabrics and flowers and come up with unique designs.
