Having the league is a great idea. Now if your asking if it is a good idea to play in the NBDL it depends. If you can get to the NBA quickly then yes but otherwise no. It is better to play in Europe or something because in the NBDL although you have a better chance of making the NBA only star players make more then $1,000 a year.
