What is a park board?
A 'park board' is a snowboard that is made to be used in a freestyle park. The board is made lighter and with a stronger core. The boards will snap easier for better tricks. Park boards are also 'twin directional' which means riders will have an easier time switching back and fourth. Some of the best park boards for 09' are: Forum Grudge Board, Rome Mod Board, and the Lib Technologies Dark Series Board. The best park board of all time, in my opinion, is the Burton Dominant.
What if your snowboard is too big?
If your snowboard is too big, it will be harder to control. A longer board will be quicker, but the added surface area and weight can make it harder for you to ride if you don't have the weight for it. There are situations when a longer board is preferred, such as powder riding where the added surface area will allow the rider to float better. A board on the smaller side is much better for park riding and jibbing because of the lower swing weight and the added control. Overall, it's important to make sure you size the board accordingly to your weight. Added is a link for a general snowboard sizing chart.
Is lamar valley in Yellowstone national park?
Yes, it is in the Northeast Corner of the park. It is not a long drive to get out of the park through Cooke City but all that is considered Lamar Valley is within Yellowstone National Park.

What size snowboard does a 6 foot tall 210 pound guy need?
Height and weight don't so solely determine the size snowboard you should ride, but it gives us a range of board to choose from. Every snowboard has a desired rider weight range. Ideally you want your weight to fall into the center of the weight range. For example, the snowboard I ride is a 157. The weight range on my board is from 140-180 pounds. I weigh 160lbs, which falls perfectly in the board's weight range. Weight is more important than height; height just helps compliment your weight. It is more important to have a snowboard designed for your weight, than having one in between your chin and nose. Refer to our weight charts below. In your case, I think a size 159 to 161 will work just fine.

Burton Dominant. Great in the park and on the mountain.
