You can skydive as an individual, but it is more interesting to skydive in groups. The most popular discipline is formation skydiving and the most popular competition style of that is 4-way (or 4 man) formations.
I skydive at a place called Skydive Hibaldstow and there we host the National Championships in Formation Skydiving every year. It's a team event and really exciting to take part in.
