If you have time for some exercise on a daily basis, go for it! It's good for you. Now, if you are doing strength training/lifting weights, you should not work the same muscles on consecutive days. This is because when doing working your muscles intensely (or "anaerobically"), your muscle fibers actually break down somewhat. These fibers then regenerate and become even stronger, but the rest period between workouts is what allows this to happen. P.S. - Don't exercise when you're injured, either.
