Storyline was that Viscera injured her at backlash. That was back when the had the Lita / Kane storyline going on. I think Viscera had lost to Kane and Trish did not know how to be quiet about it. So he injured her. Then her return in September was the debut of Mickie James as her biggest fan. I do not have in my notes however the true reason for her herniated disc.
