There is no such thing as hockey college. You just start practicing and as you get better you move up to higher leagues but there is camps.
That question is an opion, unless if you are asking about timed speed.
But no, NHL is a lot faster than collage hockey. Because it is the best players in the world, that are all in this "super" league. Also another reason why the NHL is a lot faster is that about only 5-10 collage players go straight into the NHL, sometimes less. Everyone else goes into the minors, or they end their career. But the players that do make it right after collage usually end up getting moved down to the minors, or to be a practice player within a year or two, because the NHL is faster. So they have to think and reacte quicker and it takes awhile to adjust.
But the two fastest players in the NHL are probably [this is my opion, and they have done timed races durning practices and off season] 1. Jason Chimera 2. Konstantin Koltsov 3. Marian Gaborik (In my opinion he IS the fastest] 4. Martin St. Louis (He is very small, but EXTERMELY fast for his size...)
