Foe a play bike, I don't know that one is better than the other. Think about where you would be riding and ride one of each and see what fits your riding style better.
4 stroke is better than 2 -more torque last longer that is why gm stoped making 2 stroke diesels
I like The four stroke because of the torque. but the two stroke is a bit quicker on the jump, the both fast but the four strokes and take you more place's. The two strokes are very jumpy so they like two slide out goin up hills
Four stroke engines are quieter than two strokes, but have less power.
It's not unless it's a two stroke and the 180 is a four
2 stroke engines have a little more power and require a lot less maintenance than a 4 stroke but do not last as long.
4 is better since it has more longevity-like a car engine
no way 4 stroke vers 2 stroke crf 80 is better
A YZ250 is much faster than a CRF250r. The YZ250 is a 2 stroke where as the CRF250r is a four stroke.
4stroke engine are stronger than 2stroke cause you get to break down on a 2 stroke
A four stroke engine contains a lot more rotating parts. Four strokes contain one or more camshafts, cam gears, and a timing chain. All of which cause more rotating resistance (mass) than a two stroke has. A two stroke has none of these rotating parts, therefore, it rotates more easily when kick starting. Also the two stroke fires (sparks) twice as often (per revolution), than a four stroke, doubling your chances of getting spark (ignition) during the kick starting process.
Unless we are talking about big diesels - Yes.
Neither a four stroke nor a two stroke have a bigger piston. It all depends on the size of the engine and how it is built. A 250 four stroke will have the same sized piston that a 250 two stroke would if the bore size is the same. Cc is calculated by bore x stroke (how far up and down the piston moves) so if a 250 four stroke has a stroke of 3.00 inches and a 250 2 stroke has a stroke of 3.00 the piston will be the same size. The only difference between a 2 stroke and four stroke is how the engine works. A 2 stroke has reed valves and it makes power every time the piston goes up but a four stroke it makes power every 4 times the piston goes up.
