It can feel warmer than a half filled tank (especially when it has just been filled) because of all of the molecular activity in the tank and some of this is transferred in to heat energy.. If the tank is left for some time it will drop in temperature to the point where it is similar to the half filled tank.

The reason it is warm when it has just been filled is simply down to the hear from the compressor and the friction caused by the air molecules as they enter the tank.

Is the glass half full or half empty?

The glass is actually full. Full of half air and half water. As for the water content, technically, there is no difference, except as it pertains to the process of filling or emptying, i.e. if it was filled and you drank some, it is half-empty; if it was empty and being filled, it is half-full.

Half empty or half full they look the same?

if the glass has been drunk from full to half then it is half empty and if u only filled the glass half way wouldn't it b half full!

Is a glass with some water in it half empty or half full?

Neither answer is correct. The glass is completely full--half full of water and half full or air. depends, if the glass was empty and you filled it half way, its half full, if it was full and you drank, threw out, ect. half the water its half empty

Is half and full filled stability theory also applicable for f orbital like d orbital?

in d orbital and f orbital there is a full filled & half fulled stability

Which is more stable half filled or full filled orbital?

Fully filled orbitals are more stable. However, a half filled orbital is preferential in regards to the spectroscopic notation. For example, Mo would be [Kr] 4s1 3d5.

Why half filled orbitals are more stable?

half filled electrons are more stable because they spin being aligned.they resonate and get stabilized.the same happens in full filled electrons but they spin nicely and negate .

Is a cup half empty or half full?

It depends on who is responding to the question. It also matters if you are filling up the cup, or drinking it.An optimist, focusing on what he or she has, observes what is in the glass - the full half. A pessimist, on the other hand, focuses on what is missing, what he or she doesn't have - the empty half.It is always full. It may be filled with 50% of water and 50% of air, or any variation of competing percentages, but it is always full of something even if it looks empty as it could be FULL of air. It's completely empty until you put something in it.The cup is half full. A glass can't be half empty because half of nothing is still nothingIf you pour water into a cup until its filled half way, the cup of water is half full.If you fill a cup of water completely, then empty half of the water, the cup is half empty. If I told you I poisoned the water in the cup, would it matter if it's half full or half empty? The cup is not half full or half empty. The cup may be 1/8 off of being half full/empty, but it would take mad skill to get the cup exactly half full/empty. I suggest you do not ask a question, but rather a statement, like, "The cup is 1/4 filled." or "The cup is 3/4 filled." I assume you noticed I said "Filled" instead of "Full" or "Empty". But, since there is the one in a million chance that one of us has some crazy awesome mad skill, I guess you should ask "Does the pot have half of the pasta it can hold?" but add "And you can't say if it's filled!". So, the cup is half filled.

How do you calculate volume of half filled conical vessel?

You simply calculate it like a cone, but the height of the cone is the height to the top of the FILLED part, not all the way. Half-filled is not enough information . . . there can be "half filled" meaning half the height of the cone, but can also be "half filled" meaning half the volume of the cone.

Why do Cr and Cu doesn't contain a a full 4s orbital?

In the case of chromium (Cr), the electron configuration of 3d54s1 is more stable than 3d44s2. A half-filled sublevel is more stable than a sublevel that is less than half full. In the case of copper (Cu), the electron configuration of 3d104s1 is more stable than 3d94s2, again because a full sublevel and a half-filled sublevel is more stable.

If you took a glass and it was filled half way is it half full or half empty?

There are many answers to this analogy. Some people perceive that the glass is half full as they are an optimums whereas if the glass is half empty they are pessimistic. Some say that it is always full as it might be filled with a liquid but the other half is filled with different gases. There is also another way that if you are filling up a glass then it is half full but if you are pouring out the liquid or if you drink it then it becomes half empty. How i perceive this analogy is completely different as there is an answer. It is impossible for something to be half empty. If empty equals zero as there is nothing there and full equals one as it is a whole of something then there is proof to this analogy only being one answer. So to prove this you need to do the maths.1 x 1/2 = 1/2(half)0 x 1/2 = 0(nothing)Therefore it is impossible to have a glass that is half empty as there would be nothing in the glass.
