The jet-black friesian is like a horse out of a fantasy or romance novel. the one that the prince should gallop in on to save the damsel in distress. When they are born they have to undergo a test and they have to do another when they are three years old before they can be put in the studbook. They are wonderful driving horses and are very popular for pulling carriages in North America They also do good light work farming. If you want to buy a horse i highly suggest a Friesian.
