Kenenisa Bekele Beyecha (Amharic:ቀነኒሳ በቀለ; born 13 June 1982) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner, who holds the world record and Olympic record in both the 5000 metres and 10,000 metres events. He ran and did not win, Tariku Bekele took the Bronze for Ethiopia and he came in 4th in the 10000 m. Dejen Gebremeskel won a Silver for Ethiopia in the 5000 m
