No. Griffey has had many injury problems ever since being traded to the Reds and may be traded someday if the Reds can find a suitor. A couple years ago the Reds tried trading Griffey to the Padres for Phil Nevin, but Nevin didn't waive his no-trade clause. If Griffey continues to battle injuries and there is a team that is willing to give up a minor leaguer or two for him then the Reds may try to trade him. maybe but there is a small chance He is with them now :) the Reds traded him to the White Sox for Nick Masset. The White Sox then traded him to the Mariners.
In Seattle. Major League Baseball holds its draft while the season is still going on. Teams can't afford to send their key people to New York City for three days in the middle of June, so the draft is conducted via conference call.
Japan.
Going to Seattle from inside the US - no. Going to Seattle from outside the US (even Vancouver) - yes.
Only when the Oakland Athletics' season is still going. So about week 5 of the Raiders season,Baseball season is over, and the grounds crew can cover up the dirt with grass untill the next baseball season.
Since the Seattle Mariners began operating in 1977 they have 114 outfielders listed on their all-time roster. How many played left field at one time or another would take a lot of research going through each daily box score of every game. It is safe to assume that many of the 114 played left field occasionally. Of course, the Mariners were not the first major league team in Seattle..an expansion team, the Seattle Pilots started MLB in Seattle and moved to Milwaukee in 1970 and became the Milwaukee Brewers.
