At least the Vikings, unlike the Panthers, did not already have a young, developing "Future star" quarterback. The Panthers need to draft some other players too. VIkings needed a quarterback, obviously they liked Ponder better than Gabbert. Let's see how it works out. Also, free agents like Jared Gaither, Alan Faneca, Jermon Bushrod, Ryan Kalil, Willie Colon, Logan Mankins, and Nick Mangold are available for 2011. They also drafted DeMarcus Love and Brandon Fusco, who are also Offensive Linemen.
