No. It's situated in an area of Boston known as the Fenway. There's a road there called the Fenway. Fens are marshes. ---- Boston Globe owner General Charles Henry Taylor, a civil War Veteran, bought the team for his son John I taylor, in 1904. At various times were called the Puritans, the Pilgrams of Plymouth Rock. In 1904 owner, Taylor changed the name to the Red Socks. In 1910, tired of leasing a field to plan on, Tylor anounced he would build a ballpark for his Red Socks. Tylor named the new park Fenway Park because of its location in the fenway section of Boston.
