There are many adjectives that could be used to describe ESPN, but "nasty" is not usually one of them. ESPN is a sports cable channel, which covers a wide range of professional games (Baseball, Basketball, hockey, football, etc), has news about sports, and interviews with famous athletes. At times, the content may be controversial if an athlete says something outrageous, but in general, ESPN is a network that is all about sports and if you are a sports fan, you probably enjoy watching it.
