Although instant replay has the support of about 50% of the teams (in the 2004 off season general managers meeting the issue came up and the 30 GMs voted 15-15 to implement a very limited use) Commissioner Bud Selig is against the use of instant replay. Selig has been quoted as saying "I just don't think instant replay would be a positive addition".
