The Bible is recorded by men, inspired by God.
You pledge a Bible buy holding up a bible and saying "I pledge alligaince to the Bible, God's Holy Word, I will make it a Lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path, And will hide its words in my Heart That I might not sin against God"
That phrase is a saying, and doesn't specifically appear in the Bible.
it could be a twist on the Bible verse when God responds to the question Who are you? with "I am who I am"
Yes, several have that or a similar message.
That is not recorded anywhere in the Bible. There are some off-shoot groups that may believe he did, but it is not recorded in the Holy Bible, which should be what people go to.
God commanded let there be light and there was light.
its not a Bible verse its just a saying
Get ready, I am coming back soon.
Gen:1:3: And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
By putting there hand in front of god, or on the bible. just saying that if you are a christian you can not swear to god.
sometimes when it talks of GOD it means the real God all powerfull and when it says god it means an idol or somthing people adore. it can also talk obout Light when talks obout the light of God, and light just a normal light.
