Where most atheletes make a mistake is over-excercising the damaged hamstring before its healed. When it's injured, it's a lot more susceptible to further injury. Get with a doc or a pjhysical therapist on the range-of-motion tests and excercises you can do in order to reccuperate that muscle. Check the link below:
