Try it and find out. Obviously not enough, but my guess is around 85 kg. It requires more stabilization, so you can't have any glaring weaknesses among the stabilizers.
Like a smith machine
Smith's machine carries a variety of health and fitness products. These can include bench press machines, leg press machines, power racks and also various kinds of weights.

Osteen is a Buck Fifty soaking wet (150 lbs). The claim that he can bench 300 lbs is greatly exaggerated. He can lift maybe bench 200 on a smith machine....that would equate to somewhere between 150 and 175 lb on a regular bench press. Still not bad for a petite man, but a far cry from a massive 300 lbs.

Cause when the weightlifter does the bench press exercise, it is very important to go as deep as possible without compromising the form of the lift or causing injury during the vital points of the lift. If a bench press is done on the smith machine by a group of 3 scrawny males who think they are ronnie coleman by bench pressing 35kg( i know, lightweight right) but only lowering the bar a couple of inches, please just slap them beta faggits and ask them to leave the gym as they are wasting another more serious weightlifters time who may wish to use the smith machine. Just to point out i have no clue about the shell being important but eggs are tasty and have 8 grams of protein per egg, FUARRRK
The rule of thumb is that you should never max out your weight, for fear of doing serious damage to a muscle (such as tearing it, or separating it from its connecting tissue). Ideally, you should bench press at a maximum a weight that you can lift 8-10 times, but that you need a spotter's help on the last lift. When you can press it 12 or more times without the spotter's help, then you can safely add a bit more weight.
