I played for the 1980 Lafayette Louisiana angels semi-pro football team Is there anyone else that was on this team?

My Name is Gil Padgett, Yes I played with the Lafayette Angels, QB , We still talk about those times. Clark Field was our Home field and we would come out of the locker room playing Eye of the Tiger. We played teams from the New Orleans Blue Nights to the Baton Rouge Red Wings who we beat for the championship in Baton Rouge. No one can take away the things we had done playing with the Angels.

My name is Marshall McBride (Pizon). My number was #60 and I was the nose tackle for the Angels. I was also battling cancer at the same time. The chemo that I battled was harder than our opponents at the time.
